Responsibilities

→Prepare a range of dishes in a high-volume production setting
→Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
→Execute food preparation tasks, showcasing expertise in food presentation
→Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
→Ensure HACCP and WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards including conducting temperature and quality checks and effectively managing cross-contamination

Previous experience as a Commis Chef is required and proven experience in an a' la carte restaurant or function service is preferred
Solid background in kitchen operations
Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery and a Food Safety certificate, or willing to obtain at onboarding
A passion for food and creative flair
Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labor costs
