Responsibilities
~1 min readAuto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The position requires the person to:
- →Communicate and work with customers and associates at all levels
- →Learn how to and then assist with reviewing and answering basic inquiries from customers.
- →Learn how to and then make computer inquiries and entries relating to customer accounts
- →Learn how to and then communicate with customers and others as needed to research problems and find solutions
- →Learn how to and then collect pertinent information from customers to handle inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- →Prioritize and organize work to ensure it is completed in a timely manner.
- →Document customer requests and Learn how to and then assist agents with basic tasks.
- →Work with confidential and/or sensitive information, data, and matters in accordance with Company standards.
- →Maintain punctual attendance according to an assigned work schedule at a Company approved work location.
- →Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere upon request
Requirements
~1 min read- High School Diploma or its equivalent is required
- Direct insurance agency/company experience is a plus
- Must type a minimum of 40 words per minute with 85% accuracy
- Flexibility for occasional and/or seasonal overtime
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
