Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive, team-based care for adults with congenital heart disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Conduct and document thorough initial and follow-up physical examinations, including assessment and ongoing management of ACHD patients.
- Work as part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease team, in close collaboration with a broad network of specialty services.
- Support pre- and post-operative management of complex congenital heart patients in coordination with interventional and surgical APPs.
- Promote health and coordinate care for patients and families through education, anticipatory guidance, and engagement in lifelong congenital heart disease management—including communication with referring providers as appropriate.
- Contribute to program development, maintenance of ACHD accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
~1 min read- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Eligible for or licensed in Florida as an APRN or PA-C.
- Experience in Congenital Heart experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for patient education and advocacy.
