- 3-night block scheduling (weekday or weekend rotations)
- Continuous in-house coverage: One neurosurgery APP onsite at all times
- Primarily inpatient/emergency-based care with no outpatient responsibilities
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide inpatient neurosurgical care, including consults, admissions, and cross-coverage
- →Manage urgent and emergent neurosurgical patients in collaboration with the surgical team
- →Support post-operative care and patient stabilization overnight
- →Work closely with neurosurgeons, ICU teams, and hospital staff in a high-acuity, team-based environment
- →Participate in a collaborative model focused on efficient, high-quality patient care

Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in an acute care, inpatient, or emergency setting required
- Board Certified PA (NCCPA)
- Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with pediatrics preferred; must be comfortable seeing pediatrics.
- Neurosurgery experience strongly preferred; Candidates with neurosurgical clinical rotations considered
- Strong knowledge of brain and spine pathologies
- Ability to work in a collaborative, high-acuity environment
