Applied Research Solutions has a unique opportunity for a Senior Logistics Manager to support a new Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.

What We Offer

Apply acquisition logistics expertise to support USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement, including post-award program management and full life-cycle activities.
Coordinate integrated logistics elements—spares, support equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning—to ensure all support requirements are identified and aligned with F-15 Division needs. Contribute to development of long-term weapon system supportability strategies that support Government acquisition objectives.
Conduct site surveys and analyze sustainment and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues; recommend viable solutions. Apply knowledge of the AFMC Source of Repair Assignment (SORA) process, including database tools, coordination with AFLCMC, and supporting business case analyses.
Support SORA actions and depot maintenance interservice studies through completion. Develop and review logistics documentation (e.g., Integrated Logistics Support Plans, LCSPs, Technical Orders, Technical Manuals, ETMs, IPBs, and work specifications) to ensure compliance with Government requirements. Participate in logistics management meetings, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and related forums.
Assist the Government with Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks, including: Utilizing Parts and Repair Ordering System and Federal Logistics Data systems
Supporting Defense Transportation System, Supply Discrepancy Reports, and Quality Deficiency Reports
Supporting OFP series and F-15 programs across all logistics elements (spares, provisioning, modifications, repairs, technical data, and facilities)
Providing FMS support, including transportation planning and use of AFSAC Online
Apply logistics principles to plan, develop, and manage a comprehensive and cost-effective product support strategy across key elements, including systems engineering, design interface, supply support, maintenance planning, SE/test systems, facilities, packaging/transportation, technical data, manpower, training, computer resources, and CPI protection.
Support logistics and maintainability programs through: Requirements analysis and resource identification
Implementation of support plans
Budget, financial, and life-cycle cost analysis
AIS standardization and compatibility
Product Support/RAM-C analysis and T&E planning
Collect, analyze, and manage logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data to develop and validate documentation supporting automated reporting and management systems. Assist in technical reviews to ensure reliability, maintainability, quality, supportability, and interoperability, and address sustainment issues related to the LCSP and integrated support plans.
Evaluate Government Furnished Equipment/Property (GFE/GFP), SE, life support, and demilitarization requirements. Compare Government and contractor plans against program status and recommend corrective actions.
Manage reliability-centered maintenance, provisioning, and life-cycle logistics planning, including end-of-program requirements and cost development. Support kit development and resolve associated issues.
Support technical order and maintenance documentation processes, including TCTOs, AFTO forms, and depot coordination activities. Participate in working groups, PMRs, and technical meetings; analyze configuration, delivery, and deficiency data; and integrate training system requirements into program plans.
Conduct analyses and reporting to improve logistics efficiency and data management. Maintain technical data libraries and operate Government systems such as IETMS and JCALS.
Review and analyze deficiencies, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and technical order changes. Assess supply chain impacts, support root cause analysis, and track TCTO implementation.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and program meetings. Assist in preparing and coordinating program documentation, including agreements (MOA/MOU), SOO/SOW, and staff summary packages.
Support SORA process updates in response to core activation requirements. Review LSA data to recommend changes to maintenance levels, considering technical data, SE, and workforce capabilities.

Must have FMS Experience
Minimum of bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
Knowledge of/experience with S1000D
Intricate knowledge of the Air Force Technical Order system is a predominate role of this position. Knowledge of and experience with Technical Order 00-20-1 and 00-5-1 is beneficial as this Logistics Manager position is heavily focused on auditing, reviewing, and correcting Technical Orders associated with FMS countries.
