ADP is hiring a Senior Director, Portfolio Product Marketing.

ADP has an unmatched breadth of technology, data, expertise, and services that help organizations solve some of their most complex workforce challenges. We're looking for an exceptional product marketing leader and powerhouse storyteller who can connect those capabilities into simple, differentiated stories about the value ADP delivers to buyers.

This role will work across ADP's Global Solutions portfolio - including ADP Global Payroll, Workforce Management, and ADP Lyric HCM - to define how we tell our product story globally. Rather than starting with individual products, features, or capabilities, you'll start with the needs of our buyers across HR, Finance, and IT and connect the dots across ADP to show how we solve the workforce challenges that matter most to them.

This is a senior individual contributor role designed to work horizontally across ADP's Product Marketing organization. You'll partner with the product marketing leaders responsible for our individual solutions, connecting their deep product expertise into a unified portfolio narrative built around buyer needs, high-value use cases, and measurable business outcomes. Success will depend on your ability to influence without direct authority, break down organizational and product silos, and create alignment around a shared story.

You'll partner deeply with Sales leadership and customer-facing teams to turn that portfolio narrative into sales plays, messaging, demonstrations, and enablement that help sellers engage executive buyers, differentiate ADP, and win. You'll also own how the Global Solutions portfolio story comes to life across ADP's most important industry events, trade shows, customer forums, and internal moments - ensuring ADP shows up with a consistent, differentiated product narrative in the market.

Success in this role means making the complex simple - and making the story commercially powerful. You'll help buyers understand not just what ADP does, but the value ADP can create for their organizations, while equipping our Sales teams to tell that story consistently and confidently around the world. This role reports to ADP's Vice President of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

On a typical day, you will:

  • →Define ADP's cross-portfolio product narrative, connecting products, technology, data, expertise, and services into a differentiated story about the value ADP delivers to organizations around the world.
  • →Start with the buyer, not the product, developing value propositions, use cases, and narratives around the most critical needs of HR, Finance, and IT leaders rather than individual features and capabilities.
  • →Break down product silos by partnering across Product Marketing and Product Management teams to identify the most powerful connections across ADP's portfolio and turn them into cohesive customer stories.
  • →Translate complex capabilities into simple, compelling narratives that emotionally resonate with executive buyers, clearly articulate business value, and differentiate ADP in the market.
  • →Identify and develop high-value, cross-portfolio use cases that demonstrate how ADP can solve complex workforce challenges in ways individual product stories cannot communicate on their own.
  • →Create differentiated product demonstrations and experiences that bring ADP's portfolio narrative and highest-value use cases to life, showing - not simply telling - buyers how ADP can transform the way they manage their workforce.
  • →Partner deeply with Sales leadership and customer-facing teams to translate the portfolio narrative into sales plays, messaging, demonstrations, competitive guidance, and enablement that help sellers confidently communicate ADP's value, engage executive buyers, navigate complex buying committees, and win.
  • →Own the Global Solutions product narrative across ADP's most important industry events, trade shows, customer forums, and internal events, ensuring ADP shows up with a consistent and differentiated story across experiences such as ADP ReThink, ADP Meeting of the Minds, HR Tech, UNLEASH, and other strategic market moments. Define the narratives, use cases, demonstrations, and product experiences that bring our value proposition and innovation to life on the industry's biggest stages.
  • →Drive alignment around a shared portfolio story across Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Analyst Relations, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and regional teams, bringing together different priorities and product perspectives around a common buyer-first narrative.
  • →Influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams without direct authority, building the relationships, credibility, and alignment required to move complex initiatives from idea to market execution.
  • →Bring the voice of the buyer into the organization, using customer insight, market intelligence, competitive dynamics, win/loss insights, and Sales feedback to continually evolve ADP's narrative and identify new opportunities to create differentiated value.
  • →Measure whether the story is working, establishing metrics across buyer engagement, Sales adoption, competitive differentiation, pipeline influence, and other commercial outcomes to continually improve the narrative and its activation.
  • →Represent ADP externally as a product and market thought leader, helping shape how customers, analysts, and the broader market understand ADP's innovation and differentiated value.

  • Experience developing persona-based value propositions and use cases for executive buyers, ideally across HR, Finance, and IT.
  • Experience marketing enterprise software, SaaS, HCM, payroll, workforce management, or other complex technology and services portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success working across multiple products or business units to create integrated portfolio, platform, or solution narratives.
  • Deep experience partnering with enterprise Sales organizations and building sales enablement strategies that translate product and market narratives into messaging, sales plays, demonstrations, and tools that help sellers win.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across highly matrixed organizations without relying on direct organizational authority.

Requirements

  • Experience in HCM, payroll, workforce management, or HR technology.
  • Experience developing narratives and go-to-market strategies for platform, suite, or multi-product technology portfolios.
  • Experience marketing to HR, Finance, and IT executives within large enterprises and multinational organizations.
  • Knowledge of global workforce, compliance, payroll, AI, data, and workforce technology trends.
  • Experience developing executive-level product demonstrations, keynote narratives, or other high-impact product experiences.
  • Experience partnering with large, complex Sales organizations to drive adoption of new messaging, sales plays, and enablement.

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A powerhouse storyteller who can find the simple, compelling idea buried inside a complex portfolio of products, technology, data, expertise, and services.
  • Buyer-obsessed, instinctively starting with the problem an HR, Finance, or IT leader is trying to solve rather than the capabilities ADP wants to talk about.
  • A connector, able to see relationships across products, buyer needs, and organizations that others may miss and turn them into differentiated market opportunities.
  • Commercially minded, understanding that great storytelling ultimately needs to create demand, enable Sales, help ADP win, and drive growth.
  • An exceptional influencer and collaborator who can create alignment across Product Marketing, Product, Sales, and Marketing without direct authority - bringing teams with different priorities and product perspectives together around a shared buyer-first narrative.
  • Comfortable challenging product-centric thinking, consistently asking 'what does this mean for the buyer?' and pushing teams toward value, outcomes, use cases, and differentiation.
  • Equally strong at strategy and execution, capable of developing the big idea and then bringing it to life through messaging, use cases, demonstrations, sales enablement, and flagship market moments.
  • Passionate about making the complex simple and raising the standard for how ADP tells its product story globally.
