Locations: Roseland NJ (preferred), Alpharetta GA, San Dimas CA

Hybrid (onsite 3 days)

As a senior technical leader, you will partner with development, operations, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure the stability, performance, resiliency, and modernization of our mainframe ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in IBM z/OS, CICS/TS, Assembler, COBOL, and enterprise availability practices.

You strive to learn new technologies and find ways to incorporate what you learn into building your products. You'll also serve as a mentor to the junior developers. Responsibilities

You'll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to up to 90 stakeholders.
Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.
Influence and inspire confidence. You are comfortable presenting to senior leaders, product owners, and peers with a compelling voice that you demonstrate through executive presence, leading change, and creating clear executive-level communications on milestone achievements.
You have 13+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

13+ years of hands-on experience supporting IBM CICS/TS in large-scale IBM z/OS environments.
Deep expertise with IBM CICS Transaction Server administration and support.
Strong working knowledge of IBM Assembler and COBOL.
Experience installing, upgrading, maintaining, and supporting mainframe software products.
Advanced troubleshooting, problem determination, and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience supporting high-availability enterprise production environments.
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across multiple teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to successfully complete required government background checks and obtain necessary clearances.

Requirements

Experience with CICSPlex System Manager (CPSM).
Experience using CICS Explorer.
Knowledge of Java workloads within CICS and Liberty Profile environments.
Experience with IBM MQ.
Experience with z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition.
Familiarity with enterprise automation and operational tooling.
Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity programs.
