We are looking for a Release Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our Release Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in release automation, managing release pipelines, and ensuring smooth delivery of software releases. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with scripting (Groovy, Python), have good knowledge of release processes, and be comfortable working with tools like Jira, Jenkins, ArgoCD.

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining release automation scripts.

Work with Release Manager to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline execution.

Collaborate with development, QA, and Product teams to plan and coordinate software releases.

Automate repetitive manual release tasks to improve efficiency.

Manage release documentation and deployment checklists.

Monitor builds, deployments, and troubleshoot release failures.

Track and manage release activities using JIRA, Confluence etc.

Support post-release validations and issue resolutions.

3-4 years of experience in Release Engineering / Build & Release / DevOps.

Strong scripting knowledge in Groovy and Python.

Hands-on experience with Jira for release tracking and reporting.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD).

Familiarity with version control systems (Bitbucket).

Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes for deployment automation.

Experience with artifact management tools (Nexus, Artifactory).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
