Aprio is seeking a Tax Manager to lead a high-performing team of tax professionals and deliver exceptional compliance and consulting services across a diverse and growing client portfolio-including with our Korean-speaking client community. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic tax planning solutions, manage complex client engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor on matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and regulatory compliance.

Opportunity to lead a specialized practice serving Korean-speaking business clients across complex tax engagements

Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, delegating responsibilities, providing oversight, and supporting ongoing professional development

Develop and implement strategic tax planning solutions, staying current with evolving tax laws and regulations

Provide consulting services on complex tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring

Conduct in-depth tax research to identify planning opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance

Prepare and review tax returns across entity types — including S-Corps, partnerships, individuals, and corporations — ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws

Communicate effectively with clients, tax authorities, and other regulatory stakeholders to manage all tax-related matters

Build and manage strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality, consistent service delivery

Mentor, train, and develop team members to strengthen technical expertise and support career growth

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;

CPA required

5+ years of progressive tax experience with demonstrated expertise in corporate tax and tax provisioning

Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals

Business-level fluency in Korean (written and spoken) required to serve Korean-speaking clients

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and reporting requirements

Preferred: Master's degree in Taxation or a related field
