Part Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

In this role, you will help deliver thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care as part of a collaborative behavioral health model. This is an opportunity to support patients through evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing medication management while working closely with therapists and interdisciplinary colleagues to promote continuity of care and patient safety.

• →Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments via telehealth.
• →Provide medication management and follow-up care.
• →Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• →Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• →Coordinate care with behavioral health therapists and interdisciplinary teams.
• →Monitor patient safety, treatment response, and medication effectiveness.
• →Participate in required clinical meetings and quality improvement activities.

• Active PMHNP-BC certification.
• Active, unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Active DEA registration appropriate for prescribing in New York.
• MSN or DNP with psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner preparation.
• At least 3 years of psychiatric medication prescribing experience as a PMHNP-BC.
• New York State residency.

• Telepsychiatry experience.
• Experience treating children and adolescents ages 5 and older.
• Integrated behavioral healthcare experience.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
