Senior DoD Acquisition Specialist

Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients.  Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.

Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Senior DoD Acquisition Specialist. This position is onsite and located in Fort Detrick, MD.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide senior acquisition program management and strategic acquisition analysis.
• Develop acquisition strategies, milestone documentation, program briefings, schedules, risk products, and decision papers.
• Apply Materiel Requirements/Capability Development, PPBE, DoDI 5000, and Adaptive Acquisition Framework processes.
• Support ACAT medical programs and integration of medical product development with DoD acquisition processes.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: 

• Defense Acquisition System.
• DoDI 5000 series / AAF.
• PPBE.
• Requirements/capability development.
• Acquisition Systems Engineering.
• Acquisition strategy and milestone documentation.
• Risk, schedules, LCCE/TEMP/LCSP-related documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expert-level knowledge of DoD acquisition processes.
• Working knowledge of capability requirements development, PPBE, and organizational acquisition policy.
• Ability to develop executive-level acquisition documentation.
• Ability to work independently.
• Travel: Up to 20%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current/recent DHA PAE MP acquisition incumbent.
• DAWIA or equivalent acquisition training/certification.
• Medical product acquisition experience.
• FDA-regulated medical product familiarity.
• ACAT program experience.
