The Academy of Mount St. Ursula, an all-girls Catholic high school conducted in the Ursuline tradition and located in the Bronx, is seeking a mission-driven, educator to join our World Languages Department as a High School Spanish Teacher. We are a diverse school community and welcome applicants of all faiths.

Responsibilities

→Foster a supportive, faith-centered learning environment.
→Teach Spanish courses to students in grades 9–12.
→Develop engaging lessons that build students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish while integrating Hispanic cultures to foster global awareness and cultural appreciation.
→Collaborate with colleagues and uphold Catholic doctrine and values in daily teaching.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field required; master's degree and New York State certification preferred.
High school Spanish teaching experience and strong classroom management skills.

3–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
