The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping, protecting, and evolving the visual identity of a leading materials science company with a diverse portfolio of brands, products, technologies, and markets. Working closely with corporate communications, marketing leaders, and technical subject matter experts, this hands-on role helps strengthen brand standards, elevate visual storytelling, and create cohesive brand assets and experiences across globally recognized materials science brands serving highly technical industries. Key brands include Kevlar®, Nomex,® and Firepoint®.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality visual assets for print and digital channels, including:
  • Brochures, catalogs, flyers, white papers, case studies, advertisements, and trade show graphics and materials
  • Templates for corporate and departmental use
  • Graphics and layouts for websites, landing pages, email marketing, and social media
  • Infographics and presentation materials
  • Internal communications and corporate branding materials

 

  • Support the creation of video content for marketing, training, product launches, events, and social media.
  • Assist video planning, storyboarding, filming, lighting, audio production, and post-production activities as needed.
  • Edit video content and create motion graphics and animations for digital marketing, presentations, events, and social media
  • Optimize video assets for various digital platforms.

 

  • Maintain consistency across all creative assets by adhering to established brand standards and visual guidelines.
  • Apply creative thinking while working within brand parameters to strengthen company identity and messaging.
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, polished, and aligned with company objectives.

 

  • Maintain organized libraries of creative assets, photography, video files, logos, templates, and brand resources.
  • Manage file naming conventions, version control, and digital asset organization.
  • Ensure creative files are properly archived and accessible to internal stakeholders.

 

  • Partner closely with brand, marketing, technical experts, market and product leaders, and leadership to develop visual solutions. Support minor graphic design needs for other internal functional departments as needed.
  • Translate complex scientific and technical information into engaging, digestible visual content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Incorporate feedback effectively and revise creative work as needed.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions during planning and creative brainstorming sessions.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional graphic design and multimedia creation experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatile design and multimedia capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
    • Illustrator
    • Photoshop
    • InDesign
    • Premiere Pro
    • After Effects (preferred)
  • High proficiency with Microsoft-based programs, specifically Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Experience preparing files for both digital and print production.
  • Basic to intermediate video production and editing experience.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

  • Background in B2B marketing, manufacturing, industrial, technology, engineering, or scientific industries.
  • Expertise creating infographics and technical illustrations.
  • Knowledge of MediaValet or comparable DAM systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Showpad or comparable sales enablement tool.
  • Basic photography and videography skills.
  • Knowledge of trade show booth design.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and the ability to appropriately incorporate emerging technologies into content development workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to create, model, and develop assets for digital and print applications is helpful but not required.

  • Comfortable balancing creativity with established brand guidelines.
  • Open to feedback and able to revise work without taking critique personally.
  • Fast-moving, adaptable, and energized by a dynamic work environment.
  • Skilled at turning complex concepts into clear, engaging visual communications.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities with minimal supervision.

Portfolio submission is required and should demonstrate examples of print design, digital marketing assets, and presentation design.
