Job Summary:

The Deskside Technician is a hands‑on, customer‑facing IT support role with a strong emphasis on executive support, hardware lifecycle management, and multi‑site coverage. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys in‑person troubleshooting, asset management, and high‑visibility service work.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide deskside support for all employees at the Davenport facility and satellite sites
  • Deliver White Glove support to executives — meaning fast, polished, proactive service
  • Troubleshoot hardware, Windows 11, O365, mobile devices (Android, iOS + MDM), and apps
  • Image, configure, deploy, track, order and retire IT assets (PCs, phones, tablets)
  • Collaborate with a global IT team and follow corporate IT standards

Also note:

  • Must communicate clearly, verbal and written, with all levels of customers, including executives; adapt tone and style to different audiences and demonstrate active listening skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently. Proactively scan for tasks that need attention, prioritize them appropriately, and take initiative to complete the work without needing direction.
  • Ability to perform labor-related duties, walk, bend, move equipment, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the practical application of systems and technology. This includes knowledge of systems architecture, hardware, operations and life cycle.
  • Experience with Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance, Quick Assist and MS Teams.
  • Must be amenable to adjust schedule to accommodate customer availability and/or off-hour support when needed
  • Travel may be required to support two Quad Cities satellite sites as well as infrequent travel to Kansas and Michigan production facilities.

You have: (required)

  • Experience as an IT professional in a business environment
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent from an accredited organization
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited organization
