Primary Responsibilities

  • The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the Industrial Engineering field.
  • Shadow and assist groups throughout the Plant.
  • Researches and completes projects as assigned. 
  • Experience hands-on learning through real-world quality systems.
  • Develop a mid-summer presentation to include project findings and solutions to teams across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or any related or applicable discipline. 
  • Must have an expected graduation date in late Fall 2027, Spring/Summer of 2028
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required, along with an overall level of expertise in MS Office environments.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team.
  • Involvement with one or more extracurricular activities, work-study or off-campus jobs, and/or volunteer positions.
