Operational Buyer

Arconic is currently in search for Operational Buyer to join our Procurement Organization based in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. This position is responsible to handle procurement related activities including purchase order, expedite, OC processing and mainly but not exclusively procurement administrative support.

Major Activities/Key Challenges:

• Handle requisitions for Köfém 

• Based on requisitions, contact suppliers to collect quotes or requestors for clarification

• Follow-up on past due orders / late deliveries to eliminate late shipments and stock outs and update POs with new promised date based on the order confirmations

• Perform contract management activities (modify and update them)

• Handle EKAER request

• Opportunity to participate in commercial negotiations, understanding the entire procurement process

Qualifications:

• At least secondary school certificate (university or college degree is advantage)

• English language capabilities 

Essential skill and knowledge

• Analytical skills with ability to solve problems

• Excellent communication skills- ability to effectively communicate

• Microsoft Office experience required (Excel, Outlook)

• ERP system knowledge is preferred

• Strong and progressively developed organizational skills; able to work independently, set prioritize day to day tasks, follow-up, and all of the administrative requirements of their portfolio   

• Procurement/ Requisition to Pay experience is an advantage
