Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As Manager, Demand Planning - EMEA, you own the demand forecast that connects business strategy to its operational plans across the channels. You lead the Demand Review in the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forum, align forecasts with Merchandise Financial Plan targets and inventory planning constraints, and reconcile top-down financial targets with bottom-up SKU-level plans. This is a role for a planning leader who brings both statistical rigour and commercial judgment, who operates confidently in cross-functional forums, and who knows how to build a high-performing team around them. You will drive forecast accuracy, lead root cause analysis, and be the person who continuously raises the maturity of demand planning processes and tools.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Demand Planning - EMEA team translates business priorities, consumer demand signals, and market insights into an integrated consensus forecast across B2B, Retail and eCommerce. The team serves as the primary owner of the regional demand signal, enabling aligned decisions that support growth, profitability, and customer experience across Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, and Inventory.

  • Owning the regional demand planning process and consensus demand plan across the 0-18-month horizon, ensuring alignment between statistical forecasts, commercial assumptions, and financial objectives
  • Leading the Demand Review in the monthly IBP forum, driving alignment between top-down financial targets and bottom-up SKU forecasts
  • Aligning demand forecasts with merchandise financial plan targets and inventory planning constraints, and reconciling where gaps exist
  • Establishing governance of demand planning processes, ensuring forecast assumptions, risks and opportunities are aligned, documented and communicated consistently across the organization
  • Continuously improving forecast accuracy through root cause analysis, driving optimization of demand planning processes and tools within the regional demand planning tool suite
  • Leading, developing, and building capability within the regional demand planning team
  • Building a more structured and scalable demand planning capability for the region as Arc’teryx’s DTC and Wholesale footprint grows
  • Shaping how demand planning tools and systems develop to support a more sophisticated, connected demand planning capability
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • You have 5-8+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Merchandise Planning, preferably in a DTC or omnichannel retail environment
  • You bring strong experience in statistical forecasting, forecast accuracy, promotional and event-based forecasting, and new product forecasting, with specific experience across DTC channels
  • You have strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate complex demand signals into clear, commercially grounded forecasts
  • You have a strong understanding of KPIs including sell-through, traffic, conversion, Average Unit Retail (AUR), Units Per Transaction (UPT), and inventory turns, and you use that commercial lens to sharpen your forecasts
  • You have experience with advanced planning tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle (preferred)
  • You have proven people management skills; you set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
  • You have a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions through data-driven insights
  • Equal Opportunity
