As a Wholesale Merchandise Planner - EMEA, you own the financial plan that connects wholesale commercial strategy to inventory and margin outcomes across your accounts and region. You will build and maintain integrated merchandise financial plans that translate sell-in targets into actionable seasonal plans, working across demand, supply, and commercial teams to keep plans aligned as the business evolves. This role offers direct exposure to end-to-end wholesale planning and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in Open-to-Buy (OTB) management, scenario analysis, and cross-functional plan integration. You will work in a dynamic, data-driven environment where your ability to surface risks early and connect financial signals to business decisions will have real and visible impact.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Merchandise Planning - EMEA team translates regional targets into merchandise financial plans, driving alignment between top-down direction and bottom-up regional builds. The team leads integrated planning across sales and inventory, managing trade-offs between revenue, margin, and working capital while proactively anticipating risks to course-correct ahead of business impact through managing open-to-buy. Working closely with wholesale teams and other cross-functional partners, the team connects regional wholesale financial plans to demand and supply constraints to ensure inventory targets support channel performance.
Building fiscal and seasonal wholesale merchandise financial plans aligned to sell-in strategies and account targets, including sales, margin, inventory, and receipt plans by account, region, and channel
Managing OTB in the context of wholesale demand, commitments, and inventory targets
Assess financial impacts of account mix, pricing, and commercial investments, ensuring plans support both growth and profitability objectives
Contributing to scenario and risk planning across wholesale channels, incorporating account demand variability, orderbook changes, and supply constraints
Monitoring in-season performance and reforecasting based on sell-in, sell-through, and account behavior
Monitoring orderbook performance, analyzing sell-in trends, cancellations, reorders and shipment risks to drive forecast accuracy and inventory decisions
Driving cross-functional integration across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Merchandising, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and Commercial to ensure alignment between commercial plans, inventory flow, and supply constraints
Present financial plans, forecasts, risks, and opportunities to regional leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Strengthening the connection between bottom-up account-level plans and top-down financial targets to improve plan accuracy and alignment across the wholesale business
Building out scenario planning frameworks that make it faster and easier to respond to account variability and demand shifts
Improving in-season reforecasting processes to sharpen the link between sell-through signals and inventory and margin outcomes
You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field
You have 3-5+ years of experience in Merchandise Financial Planning, Financial Planning, or Demand Planning, with hands-on exposure to sales, margin, and inventory planning
You have a strong understanding of top-down and bottom-up planning methodologies and how they connect across wholesale channels
You have a strong understanding of wholesale performance metrics including bookings, sell-in, sell-through, fill rate, service levels, inventory productivity and gross margin.
You have advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with strong data analytics and visualization capability
You have experience with advanced planning tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle (preferred)
