Senior Accountant - General

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Senior Accountant – General to join our client’s company in Riyadh. Handling accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness to include auditing master records and transactional data. Responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions Monthly review of general ledger for month end close to ensure transactions are properly recorded for financial statement preparation. Recommends, reviews, and monitors compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls. Prepares, monitors, and interprets monthly financial reports and analyses. Responsible for all supervisory duties of the General Accounting Assist in the completion of the agency’s independent audit. Prepares and oversees preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Executing accounting data to internal tax accountant as necessary for corporate income tax filings. Review and approve bank reconciliations, intra-company reconciliations, and other month-end general ledger reconciliations. Review and approve journal entries to ensure proper general ledger and closing. Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations. Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances. Generate and distribute account management reports and Financial Statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Perform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations, and foreign exchange. Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits. Assist in tax preparation and filing activities. Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes. Provide support for internal and external audits. Process, review, and monitors Expected Credit Losses Provisions (ECL) as per the IFRS. Monthly review of the fixed assets registers and all transactions (Addition, retirement, depreciation, etc) are properly recorded for financial statement preparation Requirements Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting At least 5-year experience in General Accountant Excellent Level in Microsoft Excel. Excellent Level in Other Microsoft Office products. SAP and other ERPs.
