Veterinary Assistant

On behalf of our client we are looking to hire a Veterinary Assistant for a Temporary Event. Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Assistant to support veterinary operations during an upcoming event in Riyadh. The successful candidate will assist veterinarians with daily animal care, basic clinical procedures, handling, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and basic clinical procedures. Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately. Support routine animal care, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring. Prepare and maintain veterinary equipment, treatment areas, and supplies. Monitor animals and promptly report any changes in their condition to the veterinarian. Maintain accurate records related to animal care and treatments. Follow health, safety, hygiene, and animal welfare procedures. Support the veterinary team with other event-related duties as required. Requirements Saudi National. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a closely related veterinary role. Relevant qualification or diploma in Veterinary Science, Animal Health, or a related field is preferred. Good knowledge of animal handling and basic veterinary procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced event environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work throughout the full temporary assignment from November 2026 to January 2027. Must be based in or able to work in Riyadh.
