OtherPresident

Ares’ Global Capital Solutions team is a centralized platform function focused on securing favorable financing terms and execution across the firm and leveraging the firm’s aggregate banking wallet to advance strategic priorities.

Within Capital Solutions, the Strategic Counterparty Coverage (SCC) team is responsible for consolidating Ares’ bank relationships into a unified, enterprise-level view, ensuring the firm engages its most important counterparties with one coordinated voice. The team is currently being built out and will serve as the central hub for counterparty intelligence, relationship coordination, and strategic engagement across the Ares platform.

The Vice President will play a key role in supporting the SCC function, helping to ensure senior leadership (up to and including the Co-Presidents and CEO) are fully briefed before, during, and after counterparty engagements. Day-to-day, this means synthesizing cross-platform input from investment teams, finance, fundraising, and senior leadership to present a clear, unified agenda in bank meetings. This person will coordinate closely with the Global Co-Heads of Capital Solutions and other team members to align coverage priorities and will increasingly participate directly in strategic counterparty conversations alongside senior leaders. Success requires working effectively across Capital Solutions, investment groups, technology, finance, and corporate strategy. The right person is a polished professional comfortable in senior settings who also rolls up their sleeves and drives execution across a complex organization.

More broadly, the SCC function is building the infrastructure, systems, and processes needed to support counterparty coverage at scale. This includes designing the CRM architecture, establishing data collection workflows across the platform, building repeatable reporting and briefing materials, and communicating relationship updates and strategic priorities to key Ares leaders including the Co-Presidents and CEO. The Vice President will be a key driver of this build-out
