What You’ll Do
● Feature Evolution: Design, implement, and maintain high-quality Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, operating effectively within the existing architecture while ensuring long-term maintainability.
● Engineering Excellence: Drive end-to-end delivery as part of a cross-functional team, upholding quality through disciplined testing, code review, performance tuning, and system stability improvements.
● Performance & Stability: Balance new-feature delivery with continuous system optimization, performing root-cause analysis, and delivering durable fixes for performance, memory, and stability issues in a live enterprise environment.
● Stewardship: Actively contribute to the health of the codebase, refactoring where necessary to keep the architecture clean, maintainable, and aligned with
modern standards.

 

What We’re Looking For
● Production Experience: 5+ years of professional native Android development experience with a proven record of shipping and maintaining applications in the Google Play Store.
● Architectural Discipline: Demonstrated ability to work within and evolve structured Android architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVI) effectively; you know how to build on top of an established foundation rather than reinventing it.
● Modern Stack Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose in production.

● Core Fundamentals: Solid understanding of the Android SDK, device idiosyncrasies, Java interoperability, and RESTful API integration.
● Quality First: A strong mindset for automated testing (Unit, UI) and code quality as part of the daily workflow, not an afterthought.
● Enterprise Rigor: Comfort working in enterprise or regulated environments with attention to security, privacy, and structured release processes.

 

Nice to have
● Experience with reactive programming (RxJava/Flow).
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
● Prior experience in the travel domain.
