The Armistead Avenue Veterinary Hospital team provides primary and urgent care treatment, as well as soft tissue surgery and dentistry, to Hampton, Virginia and surrounding small animal communities. AAHA Accredited since 1992, our efficient, communicative, highly skilled team does everything it can to make the client and patient experience positive and stress-free, earning a wonderful reputation in the community. 


 

Due to the supportive environment, a majority of doctors and support staff have been with the practice for multiple years. In fact, more than 10 employees have been with the practice for longer than a decade!  

  • Our Medical Director is focused on quality care, efficient workflows and building on Armistead's already very strong team culture
  • Appointment-based model, NOT walk-in only.  Electronic medical records transition complete
  • We are searching for the best person for this phenomenal team, so schedule is very flexible - FT, PT, relief
  • AAHA accredited since 1992
  • 100% veterinarian retention over past several years. This position is open due to retirement.
  • 4 Licensed Veterinary Technicians on staff
  • 12:00pm-2:00pm break from appointments M-F
  • Experienced full-time, part-time or relief veterinarian
  • New graduates with prior experience working as a small animal technician or assistant will be considered

What We Offer

Full-time base salary range 150-180k + optional production plan
Earning potential on production plan exceeds 200k
Relocation stipend
Full-time benefits at 30 hours/week!
