Arquitectonica is an internationally recognized, design-focused architecture and planning firm with a global practice of more than four hundred professionals across eleven offices. Our Los Angeles studio is seeking a talented Project Architect with 5–8 years of experience to join our growing team. Our work includes luxury residential, office, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across diverse urban contexts. 
 

What We Are Looking For:

As a Project Architect at Arquitectonica, you will contribute to a range of design-driven projects and play an active role throughout the design, documentation, and construction process. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and external consultants while helping advance projects from concept through completion. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility while contributing to a globally recognized design practice. 
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of architectural design and documentation processes across all project phases. 
  • Contribute to design development and coordination of design intent through documentation 
  • Develop, prepare and coordinate presentation and documentation materials 
  • Develop and produce construction documents and detail sketches 
  • Implement and coordinate redline revisions with the project team 
  • Collaborate and coordinate with project consultants 
  • Analyze and prepare program, space planning and area calculations 
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to meet project budgetary and schedule goals 
  • Participation in regular project team, client and contractor meetings 
  • Regular communication with the designated Project Manager 
  • Construction Administration experience and capabilities preferred but not required
  • Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to a collaborative studio environment 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Professional accredited degree in Architecture 
  • 5+ years’ continuous professional post-graduate working experience 
  • Technical experience using Revit and BIM360. 
  • Ability to use 3D modeling software, including Rhino 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam Revu 
  • Experience in all phases and aspects of a project 
  • Experience in detailing and construction documentation 
  • Experience with multifamily and mixed-use projects; office experience is a plus 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to interact with clients and team members 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative professional work ethic 
  • ​​​​​​​Licensure or active progress toward licensure (ARE) with the expectation of completion within two years

Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and abilities. 

This is a full-time exempt role based in our Los Angeles office. Please note:
