Role Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced 2D Game Artist to create high-quality visual assets for our slot game portfolio. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in slot game aesthetics, a solid understanding of player engagement and monetization-driven art, and the ability to deliver polished assets independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on role requiring strong ownership, consistent quality standards, and the ability to support overall art direction while contributing to the continuous improvement of product visuals. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively work with internal teams and global stakeholders. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 2D Asset Creation Design and produce high-quality slot game assets, including: • Slot symbols (low-, mid-, and high-value icons) • Backgrounds and environments • Characters and mascots • UI elements and in-game banners • Ensure visual clarity, strong appeal, and alignment with slot math and gameplay mechanics. • Follow established art styles and proactively suggest creative enhancements where appropriate. • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies effectively to enhance productivity, ideation, and production workflows while maintaining high artistic standards. ________________________________________ Visual Consistency & Quality • Maintain consistency across all visual elements within the game. • Ensure assets meet defined quality benchmarks and technical specifications. • Optimize assets for mobile performance and engine integration requirements. ________________________________________ Collaboration • Work closely with the Art Lead, Principal Artist, Game Designers, Animators, and Developers. • Participate in creative discussions and provide visual solutions aligned with gameplay features. • Support smooth integration of assets into Unity or other game engines. • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders. ________________________________________ Review & Support • Assist in reviewing junior artists’ work when required. • Provide constructive feedback to maintain team quality standards. • Contribute to style guides, documentation, and visual references as needed. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications • 3-5 years of experience in 2D game art, with a strong focus on slot games. • Strong portfolio showcasing slot symbols, UI design, backgrounds, and character art. • Expert proficiency in: o Adobe Photoshop o Adobe Illustrator (preferred) • Experience with Spine or similar 2D animation tools (plus). • Practical experience using AI-assisted creative tools to support art production workflows. Strong understanding of: • Color theory, lighting, and composition • Slot game aesthetics and symbol hierarchy • Casino visual psychology and player engagement mechanics • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience in real-money gaming (RMG) or social casino games. • BFA or equivalent degree (preferred). • Knowledge of Unity or other game engines. • Experience working in agile development environments. • Understanding of mobile asset optimization and performance constraints. ________________________________________ Key Competencies • Strong artistic fundamentals • Attention to detail • Ownership and accountability • Problem-solving mindset • Effective team collaboration • Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and global stakeholders
