Janitor / Porter

We are currently looking for additional staff members to assist in cleaning the golf course, banquet and restaurant facilities.

Hours:

Flexible schedules and days are available including morning, mid-day and evening shifts.  This is a part-time position.

Job Summary:

The Janitor / Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and functional facility for the guests.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Clean rugs, carpets, and furniture.
• Clean, sanitize and deodorize restrooms throughout the golf course, restaurant and banquet facilities.
• Sweep and vacuum carpeting and floors using manual and power equipment.
• Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and keep Porter closet clean, organized and stocked.
• Perform special cleaning projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Takes pride in doing the best job possible.
• Must be able to drive a golf cart.
