Full-Time Room Houseperson- Ulysses

• →Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with ASH Hotels brand standards.
• →Support Room Attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, guest amenities, and housekeeping supplies as needed.
• →Collect, transport, and properly dispose of soiled linens, trash, and other materials from guest floors and designated areas.
• →Assist with stripping guest rooms, removing used linens and trash, and preparing rooms for cleaning as directed by Housekeeping leadership.
• →Maintain housekeeping closets, storage rooms, linen areas, and service corridors, ensuring they remain clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• →Assist with deep-cleaning projects, including carpets, upholstery, windows, floors, and other designated areas.
• →Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, including delivering additional towels, linens, and amenities.
• →Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to support daily hotel operations.
• →Report maintenance concerns, damaged furnishings, safety hazards, and unusual conditions to Housekeeping or Engineering leadership.
• →Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• →Respect guest privacy, confidentiality, and security at all times.
• →Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure the hotel remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
• →Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
• →Perform additional housekeeping-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills

• Previous housekeeping, hotel operations, or related hospitality experience preferred.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull for extended periods throughout assigned shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to push and maneuver housekeeping carts, linen bins, and cleaning equipment.
• Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and handle housekeeping supplies.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements associated with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining hotel spaces.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
