Mision 

The Accounting Associate is the entry level operational accounting role. The position can be assigned to accounts payable, accounts receivable or other finance teams. Verifies accounting information; reconciles accounts, bank statements or credit transactions; performs research or similar. Responsible to learn SAP, essential accounting principles, the business cycle [i.e., monthly close] and processing a high volume of transactions. Each associate is expected to support a variety of Samsonite brands, customers or business units as needed. Works under close supervision

• Reconcile daily credit card transactions to settlement received from credit card processors. Identify and correct any issues, including processing transactions that were not settled properly.
• Provide a monthly reconciliation and record any outstanding variances.
• Reconciling assigned balance sheet and bank accounts. Perform account analysis to understand transactional activity, confirm the accuracy of the account balance and the completeness of all account reconciliations.
• Assess and manage incoming information [ex: invoices, credits], identify action steps and address in a timely manner
• Process and record transactions accurately
• Identify and resolve discrepancies; raise issues of concern to management
• Reconcile, summarize, or compile information
• Assist with quarterly internal (external) control assessments. Gathering pertinent documentation for requested sample data. Able to understand and follow instructions for specific accounting processes being tested.

• Ingles avanzado Hablado y escrito
• 3 años de experiencia en Conciliaciones Bancarias
• Excel Intermedio-avanzado
• SAP - deseable
