Product Management

  • Managing Existing Product Lines & Categories based on Sales Opportunity & Profitability.

  • Developing New Product Lines based on Consumer / Market Feedback and Demand Trends – Gap Analysis.

  • Guiding the Design Team on the opportunities, trends, styling to be incorporated in New Developments.

  • Developing New Vendors & Sources for competitive pricing & consistent supply.

  • SKU Rationalization and Quality Inventory Management.

  • Competition Mapping.

 

New Initiative for Future Growth

  • Build & drive new initiatives for sustainable growth of American Tourister in future – Non-Travel.

  • Lead Special Initiative to promote focus categories – where stakes are higher – Hard Luggage.

 

Marketing Strategies

  • Marketing Campaigns, Consumer Promotions, Sales Promotions, etc. to be aligned with brand image, sales & future growth opportunity.
  • Coordinate with Visual Merchandising and Retail / Sales Team for VM materials, Products Display, POS Materials, Collaterals, etc.
  • Regularly update other Departments with information of Products Launches to facilitate better planning, support and implementation of marketing activities and projects.

     

Liaising with Regional Office 

Work with regional marketing team in Hong Kong for marketing, product, VM, etc. support based on local preferences and requirements

Education 

Postgraduate in Marketing or Business Development

Experience Requirements

10 - 15 years in sales & marketing with Pan India exposure.

Independently lead brand & product management in consumer durable / lifestyle / retail industry.

Strong Business acumen and commercial awareness.

Good interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.

Mobility/Travel

Regularly - Domestic Travel.

Occasionally – International Travel.

 

Computer Skills 

Frequent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Language

Excellent spoken and written English.

Good spoken Hindi.
