In this role, you’ll combine your technical expertise and passion for people development to shape ASM’s technician training strategy. By designing programs, frameworks, and hands-on training content, you’ll help drive product quality, consistency, and delivery efficiency. You’ll also play a key role in cross-functional collaboration — working closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to make sure every technician is set up for success.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design and develop technical training programs to support critical tasks and improve delivery quality and efficiency
- →Build and maintain competency frameworks and assessment matrices for technician certification
- →Administer on-the-job training (OJT) and ensure compliance with structured development paths
- →Present training progress, metrics, and outcomes to internal stakeholders
- →Create training courseware, collaborate with SMEs, and provide constructive feedback on improvements
- →Lead the workmanship training program for new hire technicians
- →Maintain and continuously improve training facilities and infrastructure
- →Support or lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in capital equipment manufacturing or semiconductor equipment engineering
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with assembly and testing of electro-mechanical systems
- Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- ACTA/ACLP or equivalent certification in training design and delivery
