• Accept assigned event handoffs from Sales following contract execution and assume ownership of event planning and execution.
• Review contracts, event orders, diagrams, and client commitments to ensure operational feasibility and compliance.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned clients, promoters, exhibitors, meeting planners, convention organizers, tenants and vendors.
• Advance assigned events and coordinate staffing, labor, rentals, production requirements, security, EMS, police, catering, utilities and other operational needs.
• Produce accurate CAD drawings and event layouts for arena, ballroom, exhibit hall, meeting room and convention center events.
• Coordinate room setups, registration areas, signage, exhibitor layouts, food and beverage service areas and guest flow plans.
• Conduct facility inspections to ensure readiness, safety and compliance.
• Develop and manage staffing plans and supervise event staff.
• Provide on-site leadership during assigned events and address operational issues in real time.
• Coordinate with Box Office, Operations, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Finance and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Compile and distribute event documentation, incident reports, attendance reports, staffing schedules and payroll information.
• Verify hours worked by contract labor, EMTs, police officers and other staffing partners.
• Maintain positive client relationships and deliver a high level of customer service.
• Make timely decisions during emergency and time-sensitive situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Event Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned events at Marshall Health Network Arena and the Convention Center in alignment with Legends Global service standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the venue and promoters, tenants, exhibitors, meeting planners, convention organizers, clients, vendors, and internal departments. The Event Manager oversees assigned events from sales handoff through post-event reporting and settlement support, ensuring contractual obligations, operational requirements, and client expectations are successfully fulfilled. Event assignments may include concerts, sporting events, family shows, trade shows, conventions, conferences, meetings, banquets, consumer shows, community events and other special events.

Event Execution & Readiness: Assigned events are thoroughly advanced and executed according to contract requirements and venue standards.

Client & Partner Satisfaction: Promoters, clients, exhibitors, convention organizers and internal stakeholders receive exceptional service.

Operational Accuracy: Event documentation, CAD drawings, staffing plans and reports are accurate and timely.

Safety & Compliance: Events are executed in compliance with venue policies and applicable regulations.

Staff Leadership & Engagement: Staff members are supported, directed and held accountable to service standards.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork are demonstrated across all venue departments.

Adaptability & Problem Solving: Sound judgment and professionalism are demonstrated in fast-paced event environments.
