Responsibilities

3+ years previous coaching experience preferred

5+ years competitive skating experience preferred
- →
Knowledge of the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills program
- →
Knowledge of generally accepted coaching techniques
- →
Skill in organizing large groups of skaters (youth or mixed ages)
- →
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other instructors and management
- →
Must like working with children
- →
Reliable and responsible, with maturity and sound judgment
- →
Energy, assertiveness, innovation, creativity, and willingness to try new approaches and techniques
Requirements
~1 min readMust have passed USFS Freeskate 6, or equivalent, must (can still be a full member of U.S. Figure Skating via their home club). Required to become SafeSport compliant within 3 months of start date.
