Salary: Up to £28,400 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Location: Tidworth

Your Role

  • Support the HSE Manager and Garrison Managers in promoting continual improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.

  • Assist with HSE site inspections and monitor compliance across partners and contractors.

  • Collate and maintain inspection records, incident data and reporting systems.

  • Support the reporting, recording and investigation of incidents and track corrective actions through to completion.

  • Produce HSE summaries, statistics and management information to support business reporting requirements.

  • Review emergency response arrangements and monitor the completion of drills.

  • Provide accurate and timely HSE data while promoting professional and proactive HSE behaviours across the garrison.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English are essential. A background in business administration and qualifications such as NVQ, ECDL or IOSH Managing Safely would be advantageous.

  • Experience: Previous experience providing administrative support in a demanding, performance-driven environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications and IT systems, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams, customers and contractors.

  • Skills: Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, influence colleagues, support managers and work effectively to challenging timescales. You will be proactive, commercially aware and committed to high standards of health, safety and environmental performance.
