Quick Summary
product design, brand design, and marketing design, including hiring, structure, and culture. Define Aspora's unified design vision across every surface: app, web, brand identity, and growth creative.
People on the move deserve a bank that moves with them. Since 2022, Aspora has been building a borderless financial operating system that makes money as mobile and transparent as its users.
Backed by influential venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital, Greylock Partners, Hummingbird Ventures, Y Combinator & Global Founders Capital. We're a team of 150+ across India, the UK, the UAE, EU and the US, working with extreme ownership, radical candour, and an obsession with customer impact.
We celebrate builders who question assumptions, ship fast, and turn regulatory complexity into elegant solutions. If you’re driven to redefine what global banking can be, we’d love to build the future with you.
About the Role
~1 min readThis role exists to unify Aspora's entire design output under a single vision. Product, brand, and marketing design have each been built independently. That era ends here.
As Head of Design, you'll lead three design disciplines: product design, brand design, and marketing design. You'll set the direction, build the team, and ensure everything we put in front of customers — from onboarding flows to campaign creative — is coherent, considered, and world-class.
You'll partner directly with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Marketing leadership. Roughly 60% of your time is leadership and direction-setting; 40% is hands-on, in the Product Design domain.
Lead and scale all three design functions: product design, brand design, and marketing design, including hiring, structure, and culture.
Define Aspora's unified design vision across every surface: app, web, brand identity, and growth creative.
Drive the evolution of Aspora's design system so it serves both product and marketing teams without friction.
Shape cross-functional design direction alongside Product, Engineering, and Growth, from early concept through to launch.
Establish design quality standards, critique culture, and operating rhythm across all three disciplines.
Own Aspora's brand integrity globally, ensuring visual and tonal consistency across all markets and channels.
8+ years in design with 3+ years in leadership, with hands-on experience spanning product design and at least one of brand or marketing design.
Built and led multi-disciplinary design teams. You know how to structure for scale, not just for now.
Strong product design foundation: UX flows, interaction design, high-fidelity UI, and design systems (Figma or equivalent).
Fluent in brand and marketing design: visual identity, campaign creative, and the discipline of making both feel like one thing.
High ownership. You treat problems as yours until they're solved. You don't wait for a brief to make a call.
Comfortable with ambiguity. You build structure, not wait for it.
Strong advantage: experience in fintech, regulated industries, or multi-market consumer products. Not required.
Build the design function that defines how a global fintech looks, feels, and behaves, across every product surface and market.
Own the full design remit from day one: product, brand, and marketing — rare scope at this stage of company.
Work at the intersection of design, growth, and product in a team shipping real products to real users across multiple geographies.
Shape how design earns its seat at the table in a company where execution is currency and craft is taken seriously.
Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and ESOPs aligned with Aspora's long-term vision.
