Asset Coordinator (supporting NASA)

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an Asset Coordinator to support our Prime NASA program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform routine administrative duties, such as training, safety updates, IT security training, meetings, and timekeeping. Provide, update, and maintain all required documentation, reports, and logs etc., manually or in electronic databases. Make recommendations to improve work quality, efficiency, and productivity. Adhere to OSHA, NASA, Company, and customer safety requirements and may assist in training others. Perform NASA equipment accountability responsibilities for property accounts. Work with the operations teams to ensure equipment movements are tracked throughout the facility systems and update the appropriate asset management system. Work in partnership with the maintenance teams to assist with GOMAR numbers and tracking of equipment. Support any government or company asset inventory audits.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must meet all Core Job Specifications HS Diploma or equivalent Must have four+ (4) years of experience working within facilities operations. Valid driver’s license. U.S. Citizenship.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations. Must be self-motivated with good time management skills. Must possess a fundamental knowledge of using software programs, spreadsheets and databases. May require lifting 30 – 50 pounds.
