Construction Planning and Scheduling Analyst (supporting NASA)

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Construction Planner and Scheduler who has supported Operations and Maintenance Task orders for facilities like those at the Goddard Space Flight Center.   This is an onsite position in NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.   Position Summary The Scheduler works closely with project managers, and subcontractors to translate engineering drawings and contracts into a chronological action plan. This role ensures the project team tracks production rates, identifies potential delays early, and meets contractual milestones. Key Responsibilities Schedule Development: Build detailed baseline schedules using historical production data, subcontractor input, and project specifications. Critical Path Management: Monitor the critical path daily to spot activities that directly impact the project completion date. Progress Updating: Collect field data weekly to update actual start dates, finish dates, and remaining durations. Delay Analysis: Conduct forensic schedule analysis and evaluate time impact evaluations (TIEs) for potential change orders or extension requests. Reporting: Generate dashboard reports and look-ahead schedules for owners and senior leadership. Qualifications and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field. Experience: 8 to 10 years of direct experience in construction scheduling or project controls on large-scale builds. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interview field superintendents and present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
