ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a ORION Quality Configuration Analyst, Associate at Kennedy Space Center, FL. Roles and Responsibilities: • Apply Orion quality principles across design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory, and R&D activities.• Review product requirements, specifications, models, drawings, and procedures for accuracy and conformance.• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program teams, and customers to resolve quality issues and strengthen standards.• Support material and inventory control functions, including contract material transfers and verification of requirement fulfillment.• Participate in audits to ensure proper closure of production orders and accurate tracking of scrapped materials.• Process documentation such as return‑to‑stock requests and workflow transactions in alignment with company procedures. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent experience/combined education. Additional technical training equivalent to a technical associate degree preferred.• Familiarity with inspection and test equipment design, reliability engineering, and basic failure analysis concepts.• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams.• Experience with quality management systems (such as ISO 9001 or AS9100), ERP/PLM systems, and tools including SAP, VECAMs, and electronic workflow systems.• Demonstrated problem‑solving ability and capability to support root cause investigations.• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance if required.• Must be a U.S. Citizen.• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
