ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors is seeking a Plumber II in support of our Sheppard AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Wichita Falls, TX.Overview:Perform the full range of journey level plumbing duties such as installing, repairing, and modifying water supply, sewage disposal, gas distribution, airlines and similar utility systems and equipment. Independently installs, modifies, repairs and maintains a variety of new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment. Plans and accomplishes work from initial layouts to final assembly which involves interpreting and applying building plans, specifications, blueprints, sketches, and other plumbing guides/codes, and using shop mathematics. Complete other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:• Correctly and efficiently completes installation, modification and repairs of various plumbing systems and equipment, e.g., replaces defective pipes, fittings, fixtures, and valves.• Accurately tests completed work for proper drainage, flow and venting.• Properly measures, fabricates and installs odd size adjoining parts and/or improvises installations when blueprints and sketches do not provide sufficient Information.• Properly uses, maintains, and accounts for all types of hand and/or power tools as required, to accomplish assigned duties.• Skill in the use of any of the accepted trade methods and techniques, such as wiping and pouring lead joints, seating equipment, and installing any combinations of couplings, unions, and joint need for proper operation of the systems.• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fitting using coupling, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves and water heaters and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.• Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fitting equipment to join plumbing to fixtures.• Be able to perform on call duties after normal duty hours and on weekends and holidays.• Other duties as assigned to meet customer and mission requirements.   Minimum Qualifications:• Journeyman Plumbing License or higher with work in Civil Engineering required.• Five (5) years of plumbing experience required. • Must have knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, operation, and repair to include routing, replacement, slant, slope, and fall of system. • Possess basic understanding of Fire Suppression Systems. • Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirementsPosting Closed: 07/14/2026 at 5:00 pmPay Rate: $32.98 per hourWork Center: CEOHS
