Production Planning & Control Analyst, Senior

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a Production Planning & Control (Business Specialist Senior) Analyst in Kennedy Space Center, FL.   Responsibilities: Performs the Buy, Make and/or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions to include procurement, materials management and shop floor control. Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. Maintain schedules, production orders, purchase requests, purchase orders and mitigate part shortages. Plans and schedules the movement of raw materials, parts, components, supplies and related materials through receiving inspection resulting in material movement throughout the production cycle. Expedites and optimize material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide priority direction for shop floor, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain stakeholders including Procurement, Quality, Shipping & Receiving and Operations management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.   Required Skills: Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain processes. Knowledge or experience in Inventory Control/Warehousing/Logistics processes. SAP or other materials requirement planning (MRP) system experience. Customer service skills and problem resolution skills. Ability to track large amounts of data and provide status Ability to work as a team player Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Powerpoint. Good Communication skills.
