ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management support for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Full-Time Project Support Specialist for a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD. Job Description: Provide highly professional and polished customer-facing project support to the Human Capital Office (HCO) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Office management skills are required to fulfill the demands of a fast-paced dynamic office environment and effectively support the HCO’s core functions. Responsibilities: Provide front-office general business support including calendar management, travel arranging, correspondence, presentation & report development, electronic approval routing, and supply ordering in support of HCO priorities, Center and Agency-level programs/projects and schedules, and in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and policies. Serve as the HCO Operations and Safety Point of Contact (POC), ensuring a welcoming, organized, and secure front office environment. Assist with onboarding and badging for new hires and visitors. Plan, execute, and provide logistical support for meetings, special events, and Award Ceremonies, including conference room scheduling, audio-visual, room set-up, communications, winner notifications, scripts, note-taking, action tracking, etc. Coordinate employee engagement activities/products and icebreakers for employees and leadership teams while tracking office milestones and supporting specialized and theme-based communications (e.g., "RetireWise,” Dateline, internal newsletter and bulletin boards). Act as the primary IT POC for basic troubleshooting and escalations. Maintain updates to the HCO website and SharePoint sites and the New Employee Desk Guide. Serve as the GSFC HCO POC for OneNASA initiatives, LISTS monitor, HCO distribution lists, and the general contact mailbox. Log, track and prepare progress reports on programmatic documentation, action items, works in progress, award nomination submissions/winners, and other HCO business functions. Oversee asset and records management as the 110 Records Liaison Officer and Property Custodian, ensuring weekly accuracy of enterprise inventory reports and asset assignments. Maintain organizational data and systems by keeping organizational charts, seating assignments, and HR Business Partner roles up to date, while managing HCO SharePoint access. Provide other general business support as needed.   Requirements: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven ability to anticipate needs, meet deadlines, create efficient process flows. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be adept in comfortably interfacing with executive-level leadership, team members, and stakeholders and professionally representing the HCO across the Center and to the A-Suite at HQ. Must be a fast learner capable of coming up to speed quickly and working autonomously in a heavy-workload environment. Diplomatic and tactful; exercises excellent judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. Outstanding customer services skills; must be proactive and responsive to customer requests. Ability to learn quickly and think critically to create innovative solutions.   Experience in developing engagement materials and/or using graphic design tools like Canva a plus. Highly capable of balancing multiple priorities, taking direction from leadership, tracking complex tasks, and rapidly distributing information across teams. Ability to work on-site at NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD, five days a week, Monday–Friday. Flexibility to work additional hours during surge periods. (Note: Occasional travel to HQ is required). Must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. An extensive background investigation is required.   Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of professional experience (or 5+ years of experience without a bachelor’s degree).
