The Technical Writer will collaborate closely with designated IT, cybersecurity, and functional subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure documentation is accurate, standardized, and aligned with applicable DoDEA and Department of Defense requirements. Establish and maintain consistent editorial, formatting, terminology, document-control, and quality-assurance standards across IT and cybersecurity documentation. Organize technical content logically and clearly and coordinate document layout, structure, and presentation in accordance with approved outlines, templates, and specifications. Develop architecture diagrams, process flows, illustrations, figures, and other visual materials in coordination with the appropriate technical SMEs to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Maintain documentation within the designated authoritative repository and ensure appropriate version control, document lifecycle management, approval history, and records management requirements are followed. Review documentation for clarity, consistency, grammar, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable project and organizational quality standards. Handle sensitive IT and cybersecurity information in accordance with applicable security requirements, access controls, and need-to-know principles. Support the preparation and submission of documentation and deliverables required by the Program Management Plan (PMP), including weekly and monthly reporting. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of experience in technical writing, communications, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicable documentation, diagramming, collaboration, and document-management tools. Ability to manage multiple documents, reviews, revisions, and deadlines while maintaining effective version control. Clearance Requirements: Active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.   Must be a U.S. citizen and meet DoD ADP Level II requirements.
