Community Group Associa, is hiring a full time Architectural Review Coordinator to support its HOA community in Williamsburg, VA.
The Architectural Review Coordinator partners with homeowners, the Board of Directors, Committee members, and the General Manager to submit and relay board approval or denial of homeowner architectural changes.
This is a fulltime, onsite role, that requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a keen eye for detail, and strong report writing abilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accepts & Reviews (Environmental Preservation Board) EPB Applications.
- Reviews and ensures that new homes, additions and pools meet EPB criteria and (Landscape Protection Zone) LPZ and/or (Resource Protection Area) RPA criteria.
- Researches and confirms property line impact with plats for certain applications.
- Updates database with EPB decision for each application.
- Sends “Good Neighbor Letters” to homeowners whose homes would be impacted by EPB application.
- Meets with residents submitting EPB applications and handles inquiries and requests from those applications.
- Meets with homeowner/contractor if requested to review applications. Conducts site visits if necessary.
- Tabulates results of good neighbor letter.
- Distributes completed EPB applications to all members of parcel committees.
- Adds all EPB applications to annotated agenda / minutes for EPB board meetings.
- Emails agenda and minutes to EPB.
- Following meeting, sends approval/denial letters to owners with copies to parcel chairs.
- Meets with Supervisor weekly to discuss applications and possible issues.
- After EPB approval of plans for a new home, generates the “New Home Approval” packet, which the homeowner and contractor sign. This packet includes specs for the new home as well as community general information for contractors.
- After new home construction is completed, exterior pictures are taken and compared to blueprints. If the home complies, a form is generated for return of conformance bond.
- Implements and maintains on line Architectural Modification Program.
- Work closely with the Community Standards Coordinator.
- Other duties as assigned.
Hourly pay rate: $23-$25.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Customer service driven and team collaborator.
- Proactive community skills, knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
- 1+ year of experience in administrative, clerical, data entry, and report writing.
- Self-motivated, takes the initiative, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
