Legum and Norman, an Associa company, is hiring a Portfolio Community Manager to oversee a portfolio of HOA and condominium community associations in the Ashburn, VA area.

The Portfolio Community Manager oversees daily operations to include administrative, financial, budgets, code, compliance, maintenance, capital projects, and more. The Community Association Manager collaborates and partners with homeowners, members of the Board of Directors, committee members, vendors, contractors, internal departments, and onsite staff.

 

Daily responsibilities:

  • Work in the corporate office in Falls Church 3 days a week.
  • Research and respond to inquires by phone, email, and in-person.
  • Source maintenance vendors, submit RFPs, negotiate vendor contracts, schedule and coordinate vendors onsite.
  • Update homeowners on community news and events, maintenance projects, and HOA violation notices by email, mass email, letters, and flyers.
  • Review financials, create and manage budgets, operating expenses, and delinquencies. 
  • Create and manage budgets.
  • Schedule and facilitate monthly, quarterly, and yearly board meetings.
  • Coordinate architectural review requests.
  • Visit community sites to conduct community inspections and meet with staff.
  • Meet and greet homeowners, members of the board of directors, contractors, and vendors.
  • Hire and train staff.
  • Other projects as assigned.

 


Annual salary: $80K -$90K.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelors Degree Preferred. 
  • 3+ years of Community Association management experience.
  • Proactive communication style with excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
  • Collaborative and team oriented. 
  • Understands the relationship among the Board of Directors, Homeowners, and Community Managers.  
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Project management, time management, and time critical prioritization skills are required.
  • Financial accumen.
