About the Role
~1 min readThe Business Operations Manager will lead the Taiwan Sales Operations Account Management team and support day-to-day business execution across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and customer-facing teams.
In the initial stage, this role will focus mainly on Sales Operations, including order management, customer operational support, forecast coordination, RMA/DOA coordination, and cross-functional follow-up. As the Taiwan organization continues to grow, the role may also support broader Business Operations initiatives, including closer alignment with Supply Chain.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team, work closely with customers and internal stakeholders, and help build scalable processes in a fast-moving semiconductor environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Lead and develop a team of Sales Operations Account Managers.
- Set clear priorities, expectations, and ways of working for the team.
- Coach team members and support their development in sales operations and customer support processes.
- Oversee daily sales operations activities, including order entry, order maintenance, order tracking, shipment coordination, and customer communication.
- Support operational topics related to forecast updates, order status, delivery coordination, RMA/DOA, PCN, and related processes.
- Ensure requests and operational issues are followed through accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage operational communication with direct customers, distributors, and authorized partners.
- Partner with Sales to support customer-facing discussions on operational topics.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering to align on customer needs, order status, delivery priorities, and business requirements.
- Coordinate forecast updates and customer demand inputs to support business planning.
- Track changes, risks, or gaps in customer demand, order status, or delivery plans.
- Provide timely updates and operational insights to relevant stakeholders and management.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales operations processes, including order management, forecast coordination, RMA/DOA, PCN, and customer communication.
- Help establish practical KPIs, operating routines, and scalable processes as the Taiwan team grows.
- Support broader Business Operations projects as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in business operations, sales operations, customer operations, supply chain operations, or a related field, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Minimum 5 years of direct people management experience, including performance management, coaching, prioritization, and team development.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor sales operations, including order management, forecast coordination, distributors, direct customers, RMA/DOA, and customer support processes.
- Experience working with Cloud Service Providers, server, storage, networking OEMs, or related semiconductor customers is preferred.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with both distributors and direct business models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, ERP systems, and Excel.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across functions.
