Are you someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, welcoming, and well cared for? The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Property Attendant to join our Housekeeping team for the season in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine.

In this hands-on role, you’ll support the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property, helping ensure our grounds and public areas reflect the high standards our guests expect. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a collaborative hospitality team. There is also the potential for this role to transition into a Full-Time Seasonal opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

→Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, hallways, stairwells, and exterior spaces
→Assist Housekeeping with light tasks as needed to support daily operations
→Remove trash and recycling from designated areas
→Help with seasonal setup, breakdown, and general property upkeep
→Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
→Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready
→Support the Housekeeping team with special projects as assigned

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling needs
Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Hospitality or facilities experience preferred but not required

Success in this role will be measured by reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and the overall cleanliness and presentation of the property.
