• →Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
• →Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• →Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
• →Administer contrast media and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• →Assist in positioning patients correctly to obtain the best images for diagnosis.
• →Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them to radiologists.
• →Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in the medical record.
• →Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control practices.
• →Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• →Stay current with advancements in CT technology and continuing education requirements.

• Regulatory Mastery: Deep knowledge of California Title 17 and 10 CFR 20 (Federal regulations incorporated by California law).
• Technical Judgment: Ability to determine optimal technical exposure factors to minimize patient dose while maintaining diagnostic quality.
• Operational Agility: Proficiency in managing departmental staffing and supplies during emergency surges or equipment failures.
