Asset Auditor (QS2) (Government)

RIS I is the delivery of regional IT services to the end user. We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices. We support local and campus area networks, including wireless and cable plant.

In this role, the Asset Auditor will help strengthen mission readiness by ensuring assets are accurately tracked, properly documented, and managed in accordance with program, customer, and internal control requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• →Safeguard customer and company assets by validating records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting timely resolution of property accountability issues.
• →Perform detailed reviews of asset records, reports, operating practices, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
• →Verify asset status and accountability by comparing physical inventory, system records, and required documentation.
• →Conduct property audits and contribute to the development, recommendation, and implementation of effective property administration policies and procedures.
• →Support quality and lifecycle management activities by helping develop plans and programs that promote accuracy, consistency, and asset integrity from receipt through disposition.
• →Monitor operational processes to help prevent defects, improve compliance, and ensure adherence to quality plans, contractual requirements, and customer expectations.
• →Prepare clear, accurate periodic and special-purpose reports that provide leaders with actionable insight into asset status, audit results, and compliance trends.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in asset accountability, audit readiness, compliance, and property management support, with the ability to operate in a mission-focused environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment are essential. The Asset Auditor shall have 7 (seven) to 10 (10) years of experience, which may include a combination of work history and education. A master’s degree is equivalent to 6 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience, and an associate degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience. The degree must be from an accredited college or university.

• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies, validate information, and support accurate asset records.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage audit activities, documentation, and follow-up actions in a structured manner.
• Experience supporting property management, inventory control, quality assurance, logistics, or related operational processes.
• A commitment to compliance, internal controls, and customer-focused mission support.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to prepare reports that help leaders understand asset status, risks, and trends.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and maintaining readiness in a fast-paced program environment.

Our Asset Auditor (QS2) (Government) earns $77,300 - $95,500 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
