Lead Manager, Newsroom Editor
Quick Summary
This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered.
AT&T Corporate Communications is looking for a newsroom-minded editor to help manage the high volume of external news and storytelling the team puts into the world every day. You’ll sit at the center of the corporate newsroom, keeping a pulse on what’s coming, what matters most and where the team should focus its attention.
This role is part editor, part newsroom operator and part connector. You’ll build relationships across Corporate Communications to surface priorities early, connect stories across teams and turn a constant flow of news, ideas and opportunities into a focused editorial agenda.
The right person brings editorial judgment and operational muscle. You love making complex things simpler and can bring structure to a fast-moving environment without slowing people down. You know the difference between what’s important and what’s simply urgent. When priorities change, you can quickly reset the plan and keep everyone moving.
You’ll report to AT&T’s Editor-in-Chief and work across Corporate Communications and with channel and production partners to build a newsroom that is more connected, coordinated and agile.
