We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Vendor Specialist to lead supplier analytics, risk tiering, compliance frameworks, and AI-driven vendor expense transformation across telecom products and enterprise services.
This role will drive end-to-end vendor governance and financial control maturity by combining deep commercial expertise with advanced analytics, AI-enabled tools, and structured compliance frameworks. The objective is to improve supplier performance, reduce risk exposure, optimize costs, and strengthen linkage between vendor spend, revenue, and product profitability.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop and manage supplier analytics frameworks and dashboards for spend visibility, performance tracking, and cost optimization
- Generate actionable insights on supplier performance, SLA adherence, cost drivers, and efficiency trends
- Enable predictive analytics and AI-driven decision-making for proactive vendor governance
- Design and implement risk-based supplier tiering (High / Medium / Low) based on criticality, spend, service impact, and exposure
- Conduct initial and ongoing supplier risk assessments, including financial, operational, and compliance risks
- Identify early warning signals such as vendor distress, delivery risks, and compliance gaps
- Establish and enforce standardized, auditable compliance frameworks across the vendor lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements
- Lead audit readiness, compliance monitoring, and remediation programs for non-compliant vendors
- Drive structured vendor performance management (scorecards, QBRs, audits, and governance forums)
- Define and track KPIs such as:
- SLA adherence
- On-time delivery
- Defect rates and incident response
- Cost efficiency and contractual compliance
- Drive supplier consolidation and strategic vendor selection initiatives
- Lead end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) transformation with AI-based controls
- Enable use cases such as:
- AI-driven invoice validation and duplicate detection
- Automated exception handling and anomaly detection
- Spend classification and predictive cost analytics
- Improve invoice accuracy, reduce revenue leakage, and strengthen financial controls
- Identify and execute cost reduction and optimization opportunities through:
- Supplier consolidation
- Rate benchmarking
- Commercial renegotiation
- Build business cases, savings pipelines, and benefit tracking models
- Establish strong cost-to-revenue linkage across vendor spend, deals, and product profitability
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, Revenue Assurance, Product, Technology, and Vendor teams
- Align vendor commercial models with business outcomes and revenue goals
- Translate analytics into executive-level insights and transformation initiatives
Requirements
~1 min read- 12+ years of experience in vendor management, supplier analytics, telecom operations, procurement, or finance transformation
- Strong expertise in:
- Vendor commercial models and contract structures
- Supplier lifecycle and governance frameworks
- Risk tiering and compliance management
- Proven experience in procure-to-pay, expense governance, and financial controls
- Hands-on experience with analytics, dashboards, and data-driven decision making
- Experience with AI/ML-driven tools for vendor analytics, risk monitoring, and financial controls
- Exposure to Vendor Management Systems (VMS), SRM platforms, or ERP ecosystems
- Experience in large-scale vendor ecosystems (telecom / enterprise environment)
- Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance frameworks
