Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff – Device Analytics and AI

We are looking for an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design and develop scalable APIs, AI services, and platform capabilities. This role partners closely with Product, Data Science, Software Engineering, and Network organizations to accelerate AI innovation across AT&T.

• →Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices supporting AI-powered applications.
• →Build reusable platform capabilities that enable AI solutions.
• →Develop backend services integrating customer, device, and network data into AI workflows.
• →Collaborate with Data Science teams to productionize machine learning and GenAI models.
• →Design secure, reliable, and highly available cloud-native architectures.
• →Optimize API performance, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
• →Partner with Product Management and cross-functional teams to deliver AI platform capabilities.
• →Contribute to technical architecture, engineering standards, and software development best practices.

• Strong software engineering experience developing scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Experience building cloud-native applications using modern software architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Knowledge of AI/ML platforms and model integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• 1+ years of software engineering or platform development experience.
• Experience developing enterprise APIs and platform services.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Experience working with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with AI, GenAI, LLMs, or Agentic AI technologies.
